While watching the Perseid meteor shower at Ugii Lake in Mongolia, we encountered an aurora index reaching KP8. The combination of the yurt, the aurora (red night), the meteors and air glow (green light) was a lucky sight at latitude 47°N and longitude 102°E, a lower latitude where auroras are generally harder to see.”
