Once, Tony Ray, a House dance judge, told me that if a dancer’s shadow is dynamic and compelling, it’s a sign of a great dancer. Tired of the repetitive nature of typical dance photographs, I embarked on this project to explore how lights and shadows can capture the true essence and beauty of dance.
