Reality is a field of infinite possibilities , shaped by the way we perceive ourselves in relation to the world . We are standing in front of a gateway that will lead us into another dimension , thinking about something we cannot picture yet , but which is already part of us .

Melania de Leyva (Venice,1988) is an Italian artist and self-taught photographer. She began exploring the medium in 2009 through self-portraiture. Her work focuses on themes of identity, representation, and transformation. Through portraiture, self-portraiture, and symbolic elements, she examines the relationship between who we are, what we choose to reveal, and the roles we inhabit throughout our lives. Her photographs explore how perception evolves through memory, experience, and social influences. Her work has been exhibited internationally in Paris, Venice, London, New York and China.
