Nancy Hamel (Nhi) work is strongly influenced by her dance background. She likes to be guided intuitively by her sensitivity to the environment, the play of light, and its resonance with the subject. She loves to explore unconventional uses and movements of the camera and set up to achieve her images. Her work reflects a minimalist and graphic aesthetic that captures a soft and colourful world. Her photographic approach dances between portraits, landscapes, and abstract compositions.
