Silent life of trees An ongoing project, to capture the esthetics of trees, in all kind of lights, weather, seasons, and circumstances. I want to evoke the beauty of trees, their strength and power, their mighty presence in all kinds of scenery.

Karen Ketels is a Belgian photographer, based in the Flemish Ardennes. She is intrigued by natures beauty, by movements, macro-details, soft colors, whites, silence, minimalistic scenes, … With her work she wants to make the unseen visible, to evoke silence, and create minimalistic images with an extra touch of beauty.
