Heading to the riverbank to hunt, a young jaguar startles me as it approaches me eye to eye. I was just a few feet away in a small boat in the Cuiaba River in the Pantanal—the jaguars of the Pantanal hunt along the riverbanks in search of Capybaras and Caiman.
