Winter is magical in the Lofoten Islands, Norway. While this location is one of the most popular and iconic, I couldn't help but be in awe. I chose a long exposure to bring this dream like scene to life. The traditional fishing cabins and majestic Festhelltinden Mountain surround the harbor for a photo shoot to remember. The nordic splendor was on full display.

Dan is a photographer based in Chicago, IL. He was born and raised in Glens Falls, NY and graduated from St. Bonaventure University with a Bachelors in Business Administration, with majors in Management Science and Marketing. After 33 years, Dan retired from Xerox Corporation, where he held positions in sales, marketing, and leadership, including VP of Sales and Marketing. Dan is an Instructor at Chicago Photography Classes and volunteers with FreshLens Chicago, an organization that provides tuition free photography and life skills programs for under-resourced Chicago youth.
