Gum Trees In The Mist

A one hour drive west of Sydney NSW are the Blue Mountains. Chances are during the winter months you’ll find them shrouded in mist - all day long. After scampering down a slippery pathway, I waited and waited until the mist started to lift and swirl revealing rugged peaks and fluffy gum trees so typical of the Australian landscape. This series depicts a transforming vista as the afternoon light casts its rosy hues. I was lucky to have a pair of black cockatoos fly through the frame.
