On the night of January 18th I decided to climb the volcano to take some photos of the flow, after more than an hour of walking uphill, in the cold, through the woods, in the darkness of the night, I reached the optimal observation point. Between roars and earthquake tremors, I spent a few hours there, in the company of other adventurers like me, who had come to admire the highest volcano in Europe.
