Despite all doubts, it will work out somehow (ICM-Technique). I am fascinated by transforming material realities into abstract photographs in order to visualize hidden aspects of the reality I perceive. With my photography, I explore how to represent the invisible like thoughts, feelings or ideas. My photographic process allows me to merge visible and invisible parts of my reality into one atmospheric image. A visual language emerges that allows me to enter into an individual engagement with the world, as in poetry, and to tell of the hidden aspects of my reality in lyrical abstraction.

After training in photography and an internship at Bayerischer Rundfunk, I worked for several years as a camera assistant. Over time, my visual language shifted toward abstraction. My work begins with reality and explores what can emerge when subject, perception, and camera interact. I work with Intentional Camera Movement (ICM) and developed my own technique, Remodel by Camera Movement (RCM), the basis of my Photographic Lyrical Abstraction. In my Emergographies, everyday things can develop an identity of their own. Together, they form my Photographic Wonder Room.
