The Gamla Laugin is the oldest swimming pool in Iceland. It was made in 1891 at Hverahólmi, a geothermal area with warm water coming from hot springs. not so far away from Reykjavik. Icelanders love to bathe in hot lagoons and this site, small and away from tourist groups , is the ideal place to enjoy and relax.

Born and grew up in Italy, rooted in a background in Geography and a life spent traveling across remote regions of the globe my photography explores the quiet dignity of people and places far from the spotlight.Inspired by the Humanist photographers of the 20th century,I focus on everyday life, cultural narratives and the unseen impacts of mass tourism. As a documentary and street photographer,I use the camera as both a research tool and a means of connection capturing intimate moments,my work is an ongoing exploration of humanity, change and the fragile balance between preservation and progress
