Usia is a Korowai man, who lives in the jungles of Papua, Indonesia. He is a skilled hunter and gatherer who lives off the land and relies on the forest for his livelihood. As I captured Usia's photo beside his fireplace, he smiled at me warmly, proud of his home and the life he has created for himself. Usia himself is a testament to the resilience and ingenuity of the human spirit and a reminder that there are many ways to live in this world.
