On my trip to Ethiopia in March, I spent several days visiting the Arbore Tribe. They live in the south of the country, just before the border with Kenya. Livestock and some agriculture is their livelihood. In their faces you can see the hardships of life, drought and a lot of hunger.
He was born in East Berlin in 1973. The view from his family’s Apartment on the 8th floor at the Ostbahnhof: on the left towards Kreuzberg to the Berlin Wall; on the right to Friedrichshain Berg, heaped up from rubble of World War II. As a young adult, Schroder trained in marketing and worked for over 20-years at Der Welt, a large daily newspaper. Today, he’s a manager in the finance department at the University of Europe for Applied Sciences, a private university, where one can earn a Bachelor or Master’s degree in photography.
