In Taiwan, the biggest taoism' religious event is the Mazu Festival. One of the most famous festival for Beigang Chaotian Palace. It's placed in Beigang Township, Yunlin County, Taiwan. There were ten palanquins procession through around Beigang Town every year, from March 19 to March 20 of the lunar calendar. Among these ten sedan chairs, four are not for Mazu, but for other gods enshrined in the temple. Which the palanquin of one I followed , is the God of the Land. it's really fun, and I'm really glad I can pilgrimage this famous festival.
