This piece was originally taken while I was photographing flowers. While I was looking for a photo spot before the sun rose, I found a spot with many beautiful oil slicks. As I searched around the oil slick, I found flowers that were still in their buds falling into the oil slick, creating a cracked pattern in the oil slick. I often photograph flowers and trees, but this made me realize once again that there is a wonderful universe-like world beneath my feet.
