Surrounded by the natural world and, for better or worse, its raw, unyielding power. All senses heightened by the laboring journey and grandeur of the expansive, otherworldly landscape, it wasn't difficult to allow the euphoria of being to lead the experience. Hours passed with little notice, yet time stood still for an eternity. Gratitude was abundant with every thought and feeling that flowed forth. The natural world has a peculiarly inherent way of connecting with and healing the spirit, speaking to our very being, and gifting new life with every breath.
