My first trip to Saxon Switzerland this year took me to the Bastei Bridge. The night before I checked the weather forecast: there shouldn't be any clouds in the sky and there was a 50/50 chance of fog. So we got up early to try to see a nice sunrise. I didn't dare to hope that it would be such a great morning. As we approached the Bastei Bridge, we could not see a river due to the fog in the valley. Also, we were all alone on the bridge.
