I spent the day with the Ovahimba tribe. Members of the village did not pose for me, and I was looking for the moments when they were unaware of the presence of the camera. My approach allowed me to capture everyday moments that are simply extraordinary in their ordinariness. That was also the idea behind the title - the captured moment was not meant for us. This artwork shows a boy who is observing the preparation of the aromatic smoke which would be useas a cleansing agent. By playing with light I emphasize the remarkability of this scene.
