We often wonder what a painting would look like if the story it tells has a sequel. This triggered the creation of this series. Inspired by Edward Hopper’s iconic works, the series depicts people's life before and after they have a child. Solitude and freedom is replaced by the bittersweet busyness and exhaustion. For example, traveling with a kid is a completely different experience than traveling as a couple, especially if your destination is an amusement park. Yes, parenting is hard. But holding a new life in your arms is also a sweet and moving experience that nothing can compare.
