Having photographed the sunrise on Lake Michigan many times, I wanted to experience it in a creative way. Using ICM, I waited for the sun to clear the horizon and moved my camera during the exposure to capture the triple sunburst just above the orange streaked horizon.
Dan is a photographer based in Chicago, IL. He was born and raised in Glens Falls, NY and graduated from St. Bonaventure University with a Bachelors in Business Administration, with majors in Management Science and Marketing. After 33 years, Dan retired from Xerox Corporation, where he held positions in sales, marketing, and leadership, including VP of Sales and Marketing. Dan is an Instructor at Chicago Photography Classes and volunteers with FreshLens Chicago, an organization that provides tuition free photography and life skills programs for under-resourced Chicago youth.
