Construction Around The Clock

This digital art photo developed out of my frustration with the construction going on near my home. It was constant, loud, distracting, and often produced dirt, debris and some power outages. But finally, it ended and this is a caution to others who may sometime endure a similar fate. This digital art was based on a construction photo taken with my iPad, however the special effects utilized were completed using both Photoshop and Pixelmator apps for iMac.

My professional background is in university administration. I am an amateur photographer whose interests are primarily in digital abstract and experimental photography. I also enjoy more traditional travel-related photography focused mainly in the areas of architecture, nature and landscapes. Some of my early photography accompanied the pages of an online literary magazine. I am also the author of two published mystery novels, one for which I designed the cover art.
