In Hoi An there lives a quiet an unassuming lady by the name of Mrs Song. A beautiful lady who lives her life near to the river that was once her workplace. I wanted to photograph her portrait with her at rest. Just sitting quietly and not posing. Just being her. In her front room the window light was illuminating the space with soft light so I asked if she would sit on a chair. Without asking, she gazed towards the light. Quietly contemplating.
