Taking the plunge and immersing oneself in a waterfall to purify the body is called "Takigyo" in Japanese. This ritual is held every July 5th at a waterfall in Nakanoto Town, Japan. The force of the water spray was amazing.
My name is Eiichi Yoshioka. I was born on September 28, 1986. In addition to photographing festivals in Kanazawa and the Noto Peninsula, I also enjoy street photography throughout Japan and overseas. My photography career was initially inspired by the incredible natural beauty of the Noto Peninsula. I have continued to be involved with the community ever since, seeking ways to contribute as a photographer.
