This photograph is a portrait of the artist I took for the exhibition inspired by artichokes called 'Cynara' by artist Cansu Sönmez. This photo was taken in an abandoned mansion that used to have a stream in front of it and where artichokes were grown in the garden. Nowadays the highway passes in front of it. There could not be a more suitable place for the portrait of the artist who built the bridge between the past and the present with artichokes.
