Who are the Vikings? They were sea robbers. From the 8th to the 11th century, they raided all over the world. They went as far as Persia, Africa, and the New World. Scandinavia is land, and wheat hardly ever grows. It is almost impossible to grow anything on frozen ground. Only 3%-9% of the land is suitable for farming. That's why they started plundering other countries.
