The feeling of seeing a new landscape is always unmatched. Capturing a shot at Mt. Ijen volcano has been a long-cherished dream, years in the making, ever since I first glimpsed its breathtaking beauty. We started our journey at 12am to reach the base camp. After hiking for more than 2 hours, finally I stood there with my camera, watching the sunrise paints the sulfuric landscape, a moment of pure fulfillment and dedication realized.

Altair is a Filipino photographer specializing in landscape and cityscape photography. He is also a software developer by profession and is currently based in Singapore. Altair grew up in Cebu, Philippines, and started his photography journey in 2017. Since then, he continuously captured the world from his own perspective.
