Economic development in Chile contrasts with the crises in neighboring countries such as Venezuela,Haiti & the Dominicans.There has been a 157% increase in immigration to Chile,generating acculturation.Despite concerns about "security"& immigration,statistics reveal that less than 10%of immigrants commit crimes.This series arises,where immigrants from Venezuela,Colombia,Haiti & Dominicans defend the colors of Chile in baseball,an unpopular sport but gaining ground thanks to immigration & triumphing at the South American level.This challenges an increasingly less tolerant migratory discourse
