Seeing a couple of plastic bags on the background of the city landfill I remembered Marc Chagall's painting "Above the City" and I wanted to try to go beyond the usual monotonous thinking and see the other side of the modern urban landscape. In the project I do not consider the problems of excessive consumerism or environmental pollution. My heroes are plastic bags, which are metaphorically endowed with new meaning and become characters in my photographic paintings. Their practical value (storing or packing something) becomes aesthetic - they become a work of art.
