The portfolio presents - 20 selected images - the work carried out over the years, from the reportage on the patients of the psychiatric hospital S. Maria della Pietà - Rome (1979), to the shots at the prison in Terni (2022): shots that capture of places and people the sense of a magnificent normality. Working on the photographic portrait gave me the opportunity to re-discover and propose the depth of the human being especially where it appears denied, by the screen of banal everyday life or by the makeup of an exceptional dimension. A path searching for a constant epiphany of the human soul.

Freelance photographer, director, format designer, engaged with visual restitution of reality since his early days. Constant research, especially in photographic language - from storytelling to analog process/language to digital techniques - and long professional experience have enriched his reporting sensibility and synthesis skills. Constant and fundamental line is the portrait of so-called ordinary people. In addition to professional activities, he teaches photography and filmmaking techniques. He has been exhibiting his work in private galleries, public institutions and universities.
