The life of a flower is short; one day of a flower corresponds to 10 human years. Flowers therefore force us to confront the cruel fragility of life. I imagined life facing death using a fusion of different flowers (florilegio) as a paradigm of life's incessant shifting towards death. In these combinations I didn't want to portray the superficial and ephemeral beauty of the flowers, but the vitality hidden within them which contains the rapid decay to which they are destined. To make this work, no flowers have been cut or damaged.
I am a curious of life with idealistic tendencies and a fighter. Someone who believes that shadows are the necessary contrast to enhance the lights. Someone who always tries to keep aligned what he lives with what he feels. I was born in Potenza, a small town in the fascinating Basilicata (South of Italy); I moved several years ago to Bilbao, where I work as IT consultant. I think the image is not the most important thing, but the "concept" behind it will be. The concept is the differentiating aspect; this is the reason why I don’t have any problem to use AI as a creative tool
