The route that runs from Karita Pass, the highest point at 1,606m on the Zao Echo Line that connects Miyagi and Yamagata prefectures, to the Zao High Line is a driving route that allows you to see up close the sea of clouds that sweeps in from the Pacific Ocean.It is about a 5-minute walk from the Zao Kartadake mountaintop parking lot, which is located at the top of the Zao High Line.
