This work is a night view of Tokyo. This photo was taken from a bridge of the light trail of a houseboat crossing the river. A houseboat is a type of Japanese boat with a roof and a tatami room that is mainly used for parties and meals. It has been in its original form since around the 800s and is said to have been used for games by the aristocrats. There are no aristocrats in modern Japan, but passengers enjoy food and drinks.
