The "Fragments" series consists of eleven digitally processed photographic images. The series explores the concept of identity, both personal and collective. The human body is broken down, altered, atomized, to become a metaphor for the immaterial part of the human being: his identity. The complexity of the images invites the viewer to lose himself in the mutability of shapes, colors and textures.
I'm Elena Soloni, I'm a visual designer, photographer and video maker. My research focuses on the fragmentation of the self. I use different techniques and media to highlight the emotional sphere in my work. My work has been exhibited at the following exhibitions: Suzhou Design Week, MUPA, Galleria Sagittaria Pordenone and CRAF. Some of my works are part of the permanent collection of CRAF. I had the privilege of seeing my work exhibited alongside Andy Warhol, Joel Meyerowitz, Louise Rosskam, Maria Mulas, Mario Giacomelli, Nino Miglior, Shoba Battaglia, Paolo Gioli and Giovanni Gastel.
