Hikers Returning From The Reykjanes Peninsula Volcano After Midnight

I was amazed to see the incredible amount of people hiking over 10 kilometers after midnight to experience an unforgetable natural event. I took this photo on the hike down from the erruption site, close to 2am, with the lava lighting the plume/clouds from below. Ultamelty, I find comfort in all the people, and the shared experience that only those who went will understand.
