Two years of written stories and 100 portraits of women from a small town in Northern Italy. Contemporary women, committed to coping with prejudices, inequalities and difficulties that life presents to them, show their strength of character in facing battles from which they come out stronger and more confident each time, managing to keep a smile on their lips, and the desire to help those around them. I wanted to tell women in a positive, real way, going beyond the cliché of the woman victim of violence narrated by traditional media. Women are so much more and these stories prove it.
