On A Windy Day

A male Mandarin duck is resting on a fallen birch. Despite the strong wind, the duck is able to relax and keep balance on one leg. To take this picture I put the tripod in the shallow water of the river Dahme, with the 600mm lens just above the water surface. A bit risky but definitely worth it!
