More than 60% of our equine breeds are endangered and close to extinction. The project "Forgotten Horses" portrays rare and endangered horse breeds, with the goal to raise awareness to disappearing horse breeds and preserve equine diversity. In this ongoing project I have been travelling through Europe to document the forgotten horse breeds, rare colour variations or dying out types.
