Its a tribute to the beauty of nature and aesthetics of food. The fish as part of the ocean is shown as an aesthetic object - a new view of our "eating". I want to present the fish in a new, personalized way. In the form of still life, Stilleben (stil = unmoved and leven = existence), thus according to the European art tradition of the representation of dead or motionless objects. My presentation of fish in the glass now makes the fish alive and thus counteract the true concept of still life. Each one has its own expression, character and personality.
