Places have their own distinctive colors. In this series, I reduced the scene - the place - to the dominant colors, and let the main subject blend in. This creates more awareness of the underlying color palette - the colors of a place - while still providing context of the location. At the same time, the overall image becomes more abstract and minimalistic.
