I go out to the sea every night in search of previously unknown behavior and unknown beauty of marine creatures. This is a juvenile bobtail squid I encountered in the sea at night. Mantle length is only 15mm. This represents a very beautiful chromatophore that I have never seen before and It was a breathtaking beauty design reminiscent of a lamp shade. Nature's creations are far beyond our imagination. Location: Kume-Island Okinawa Japan.
