Día de Los Muertos is a magical celebration full of color and memories that makes my heart melt. This year I wasn´t able to celebrate it traditionally, due to quarantine, so, I decided to take a self-portrait in my room using satin fabrics, a table, cempasúchil flowers, and makeup inspired by the traditional catrina of Diego Rivera made by the makeup artist, Yudith Pulido. "Penas de azúcar" represents the nostalgia, sweetness, and warmth that Día de los Muertos causes in me.
