The series "Voodoo" was shot in Westafrica, mainly in the country of Benin. Accidentally I had met the highest priest of the voodoo religion, so I enjoyed insights and opportunities uncommon to a foreigner. The work was exhausting, shooting day after day at 35 degrees Celsius surrounded by obsessed adepts, voodoo authorities, drunk musicians and mysterious priests took so much effort I could only finish the series after returning home and coming back back several times. "Voodoo" is my most personal work, shot at the limits of my physical and mental capabilities.
