It does not seem wise to use the @sigma_deutschland 105mm f1.4 portrait lens for wildlife photography and it was not on purpose. However we were returning from a hike to the mineral miners at the Hohenstein mountain when the ostrich at first started to fight with our car and then even with our guide, the ostrich seemed a bit overprotective and jealous because of his two females.⁣ ⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣Thanks to this guy I had the opportunity to shoot a crazy portrait with f1.4 and which creates this amazing bokeh. I really love this photograph…⁣

i am not a professional photographer, but photography and journalism is my profession. photo-journalism and traveling is my most favorite field, especially if some african country is involved. the first moment I set foot on African soil a was in love with that continent, the people and the animals. besides that I have an affinity for meditation, clear lines and the beauty of perpective. both personal professions can be found in my photographs, sometimes both combined.
