Whilst photographing the Sika deer on Notsuke peninsula on Hokkaido, Japan I was overwhelmed by the beauty of the landscape. The flat fields, white snow and the beautiful deer in perfect harmony. Being a bit of a symmetry neard I loved seeing this in the viewfinder. I was trying to tip-toe to get the head in the picture but couldnt get all of it in when I realised that bending down would omit the head all together and create an image that I personally preferred.
