Introspective Selfportraits

During the period of confinement, because of the covid-19, I was desperately searching for photographic themes at home and I began exploring various ways of taking self-portraits. I have used objects, tools, and fabrics of my everyday life in dialogue with my face and body with the help of a flash and some reflectors. This slow photographic procedure became, day-by-day, a profound process of personal introspection and identity exploration. The photos became darker and more esoteric, like cryptic allegories, theater of roles and short stories with their own particular atmosphere.
