The thick smoky atmosphere from the bush-fires that were raging hundreds of kilometres away was subtly diffusing the light from and as I set my gear up it was a race against time to ensure I had the sun positioned exactly between the two limbs and above the trees on the horizon. A short move of my tripod allowed me to capture one shot where all the elements came together.
