Police, Passersby, and The Potential Violence

Hong Kongers have started protesting since June 2019. The conflict between gov't and people have gradually intensified as the gov't is becoming authoritarian. With greater and greater privilege of the police force offered by the gov't, the over-violence from them become legal and unstoppable. From what I observe lately, there will always be potential violent scenes triggered by the HK police force, even though the other side are just passersby. We can tell from the news since June 2019. Turns out a civilized city has an uncivilized government controlling their people via physical pain.
