I have been exploring the suburb of gubbängen for the past year. I read to many articles about the troubles in the suburb and wanted to explore how suburbia is in an average 2019-2020, away from stereotypes. It ended up as a book (not yet published).

I am essentially a cultural scientist specializing in media- and communication based in Stockholm. In recent years I have become more and more interested in human relations and society as a whole, how it effects us. ?When I work I find images when I move around, write the places down or memories them, then come back to those places and make an image or I get images in my head when reading, listening to music or just walking. I draw them in a notebook and then try to reenact them in front of the camera.
