Rene Magritte was a famous 20th century Belgian surrealist artist. This series of images reimagines some of his best known works in a new and different way. In order the titles and ideas are: Caged Free Will – our free will is bound by constraints Afternoon Drinks – what's real and unreal Cheeky Cloud – things slip in through open doors Dreaming of Summer – in autumn cold we think of summer warmth No Time for Sadness – pushing depression aside Portrait – we are what we eat The Lost Jockey – rushing to progress? The Leaning Tower - a play on a visit to Pisa

I live in Melbourne, the capital city of the state of Victoria in Australia - the land down under. I used to work in IT and electronic engineering but I now play around fulltime with photography and travel. My main areas of interest are in landscapes, cityscapes, seascapes and street photography. I occasionally dabble in other areas when the opportunity arises. My other interest is in creative or fine art photography.
