In the second half of the 20th century, the production of plastics quickly spread. Manufacturers and consumers alike have experienced its advantages, and so plastic has taken the lead in most areas. However, its dominance has become so strong to date that both oceans and land are covered by islands of garbage. This series of photos tries to point this out.
